“Mozart for Kids" is an interactive family concert that introduces children to classical music in a fun-filled 50-minute program that presents the life and music of Mozart in a fun-filled 50-minute program. This interactive family concert is a delightful introduction to classical music for children 10 and under, combining captivating music, animated storytelling, movement, fun conversation and valuable lessons! The show features five of Aesop’s Fables and three other enchanting, animal-themed musical selections, as well as fun kids’ craft projects.
Apartment To Let and other big and small animal stories
An original story by Israeli author Leah Goldberg, Apartment To Let has been a children’s favorite since its publication in 1959.
A tale about open-mindedness and tolerance, this story inspired the celebrated Israeli composer Yehezkel Braun to write an engaging piece for flute and piano, intertwined with the original text.
The Mule as well as The Mouse and The Lion are among Aesop's favorite fables. Anthony Plog's charming score gives them a whole new twist. Also included in the program are other animal music pieces.
With special narration by Lisa Hamm-Greenawalt, the work is performed in a highly interactive program. Its a wonderful learning experience for children, combining classical music, language, and a valuable lesson in a fun-filled hour long program. [Also available in Hebrew.]
